Ronnie Hughes is a Mansfield, Ohio guitarist who recently completed a stint with the classic rock band, "The Godz". Hughes was a founding member of local bands Rated X and Tongue and Groove. During the 1980s, Hughes was a staple of the Cretline, Ohio rock and roll bar "The Party House" owned and operated by Pete Moss. Local bands and acts like Papirus, Street Foxx, Eggs, George Bush, Bacon, Marshall Law, Brian Earley of Aesthesia and Tone X also played the Party House and achieved some local and regional recognition. The bar drew named acts like The Godz, Freddy Salem of Outlaws fame, Rosie, and was an early practice and jam location for Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails.
Hughes has played with Mansfield local and regional bands including Frank Medley, Rob Payne, Gino and the 30 second band, Larry Pennepacker, and Heidi Helser.
Hughes is also known for his work with Pirate Printing, where he has designed logos, t-shirts, and produced the locally famous, "Who the F--- is Ronnie Hughes" shirts seen in the north central Ohio area.
